¿Como elegir la primera mochila para tu viaje?

¡Hola Viajeros! ¿Están por salir de viaje?
¿ Como elegir una buena mochila?

Pues bien, parece una pregunta bastante simple pero ni al caso. 
Escoger una mochila puede convertirse en un tedioso trabajo y encontrar el equilibrio entre Precio y Comodidad puede tornarse un autentico dolor de cabeza.
Ahora, este Post no te dará la mochila ideal para ti ya que esto es mas una decisión propia dado que cada uno debe elegir entre la capacidad, tamaño , precio y marca pero si te daré unos consejillos que podrías tener en cuenta.
Entonces ¿Que pasos seguir para elegir correctamente?

Recuerda que la mochila es casi lo principal en tu viaje ya que llevara tus provisiones y cosas necesarias. Ademas, como Viajero, vas a caminar mucho en tu viaje por eso esta debe ser cómoda y no hacerte daño al llevarla mucho tiempo. 

¡Entonces vamos con el primer punto!

Primero: 
Cuando se decide ser mochilero o viajero se entiende que todo lo que necesitaras estará en tu mochila y de ahí crece la importancia de elegir la capacidad, medida en litros, que esta tenga.
Esto no significa que meterás la casa entera en la mochila, así que debes ver lo primordial y solo lo necesario para tu viaje. El resto saldrá en el camino. 

En lo personal uso una de 70 litros y me a funcionado muy bien, teniendo en cuenta que mido 1.70 y esta esta mas o menos a mi altura.
Para un hombre una de 70 u 80 litros no vendría nada mal y para una mujer una de 50 a 60 litros encajaría a la perfección.

¡NO SOBRECARGUES LA MOCHILA!

Vamos, que si tiene una capacidad marcada por algo debe ser. No la sobrecargues ya que esto pasara factura a la mochila, que en el peor de los casos podría romperse, y también afectara directamente a tu espalda quitándote las ganas de viajar.  

Segundo:
Que te quede bien. Lejos de lo que podríamos escuchar sobre si cargada es diferente que vacía esta tiene que encajar con tu fisionomía, directamente hablando de tus caderas y espalda. 

Lo ideal seria que esta quede sobre tus caderas y no a mitad de tu cola así el cinturón inferior podrá estar sobre tu cadera y no sobre la cintura distribuyendo el peso a las piernas y dando un descanso a la espalda. Esto nunca esta de mas. 

Tercero: 
Los detalles. Aunque esto puede parecer un cliché es en realidad un factor muy importante. 
Las correas, material y forma de distribución son de gran importancia a la hora de viajar por ejemplo: Las hombreras.

¿Que pasaría si estas fueran muy finas y no acolchadas?
Recuerda que llevaras un peso considerable y si no tienes un apoyo cómodo terminaras con un hombro cercenado, bueno quizás eso no pero si herido y dolorido. 
Así que las hombreras deben ser acolchadas, resistentes y cómodas en la zona del cuello. 

Correas: En su totalidad deben ser de fácil ajuste y no tener que sacarte la mochila para ajustar algo. De obligación debe tener la correa de pecho ya que esta ayuda a distribuir el peso.
 Que sean deslizables y acolchadas en el caso del cinturón lumbar o inferior.

Cierres: De doble cierre obligado así si uno falla tendrás el otro para salvarte, ademas que le brindan facilidad a la hora de empacar o ponerle candado y darle seguridad,algo indispensable en tu viaje

Espalda o Respaldo: El Respaldo o la parte que va a tu espalda tiene que ser acolchada, con correa de regulación de altura para regular la carga y si es posible que tenga sistema de ventilación ( Muy común en mochilas nuevas) 

Marco o Armazón: Debe ser interno. Este le brinda estabilidad a la mochila y la capacidad de distribuir el peso. El marco de Fibra de carbono es el que comúnmente se usa y es una ayuda enorme al cargar con el peso de la mochila todo un día. No compres una si no tiene un armazón. 

Material: Debe ser de buen material. Recuerda que en el viaje le pasara de todo a tu mochila y sera maltratada de muchas maneras ( pobre :( ...) así que debe ser resistente y de buen material. 

Contra el Agua: Este es un factor importante ya que a menos que donde vayas no llueva, para nada, esta necesitara ser a prueba de agua. Esto suele elevar el precio, pero hay una opción , como la mía, que son las que vienen con cobertor para lluvia. Estas son mas económicas y funcionan perfectamente.  

Compartimientos: Es esencial que nuestra mochila pueda dividir las secciones y así poder distribuir nuestro equipaje. Ademas que esto nos permitirá guardar cosas de uso rápido en un lugar que no necesite vaciar la mochila para obtenerlos. 

Como Cuarto y ultimo : El Precio

Bien no se puede decir con claridad algo respecto a esto pero , lo primero, no te lances sin cotizar antes. 
No compres lo primero que veas ni tampoco lo mas barato ya que podría salirte caro. 

Un precio aproximado podría oscilar entre los 120 y 200$ para una mochila de buena calidad. 

Así que al momento de elegir revisa estos pasos ya que esa mochila te va a acompañar por mucho tiempo.

En fin, para gustos y colores hay un montón pero como vimos hay ciertas cosas que no se deben pasar por alto al adquirir una mochila de viaje.

How to choose your first traveling backpack?

Hey there Backpackers! Are you going to leave on a travel?
How should you choose yout first backpack?

Well, it seems a simple enough question, but, choosing a backpack can become a tedious job and find the balance between price and convenience can become a real headache.


Now , this post will not give you the ideal Backpack for you, as this is more one own decision, since each must choose between capacity, size , price and brand but I can give you some advices you could Watch.
So what steps have to follow to choose correctly?

Remember, your backpack is almost the principal thing on your trip and this will bring your groceries and necessities. In addition, as a traveler, you will walk a lot , so this should be comfortable and not hurt if you carry loaded for long.

So, then we go with the first point !

First:
When you decide to be backpacker or traveler it is understood that all you 'll need is in your backpack and then grows the importance of choosing the capacity, measured in liters , that this has .

This does not mean shalt bring the whole house in the backpack , so you should see the primary and only what is necessary for your trip . The rest will come in the way.

I personally use one of 70 liters and me worked very well , considering that i measure 1.70 and this is more or less my height.

For a man, one of 70 or 80 liters would not bad, and for a woman , one of 50 or 60 liters fit perfectly .

DO NOT overload the backpack!

Come on, if the backpack has a capacity marked by something must be . Do not overload as this will affect the backpack, which in the worst case may  break it, it also directly affected your back and may you take away the desire to travel.

Second:

You fits. Far from what we could hear about whether loaded is different than empty , it has to fit in with your physiognomy , we directly talking about your hips and back .

Ideally, the backpack is directly above your hips , not half your tail, so the lower belt may be on your hips and not on the waist. This will help to distributing weight to your legs and giving a break to the back. This never hurts .

Third:

The details. this is actually a very important factor .

Belts, material and shape of distribution are of great importance when traveling for example : the epaulets .

What if these be very thin and unpadded ?

Remember that, you will carry  considerable weight and if you dont have comfortable support you will end with a severed shoulder , ok maybe that's not happen, but yes wounded and painfull .

So, the epaulets must be cushioned, padded, resilient and comfortable in the neck area .

Belts : In its entirety, must be easy to fit and not have to take off your backpack to adjust something. obligatorily should have the chest strap , as this helps to distribute the weight .

 They have to be sliding and padded in the case of the lumbar or lower belt.

Closures : Double closure forced , so if one fails the other will save you , besides that provide ease in packing or put a lock and give security, indispensable on your journey.

Back : The back or part to your back has to be padded , with belt height adjustment to regulate the load and if you may need ventilation system (very common in new backpacks )

Frame : It must be internal . This gives stability to the backpack and the ability to distribute the weight . The carbon fiber frame is commonly used and is a huge help to carry the weight of the backpack all day . Do not buy one if it does not have a frame.

Material: Must be of good material. Recalls that in the trip will spend many things to your backpack, and be abused in many places ( poor :( ... ) so it need be strong and of good material .

Waterproof : This is an important factor because, unless you will go to a place where no rain ,at all, this will need to be waterproof . This tends to raise the price. But we have other option , like mine, which are those that come with a rain cover . These are cheaper and work perfectly .

Compartments: It is essential that our backpack can divide sections so we can distribute our luggage. In addition this will allow us to keep things of quick use in a place that does not need to empty the backpack to get them.

As Fourth and last : The Price

Well, we can not clearly say something about this but , first , not buy without comparing prices before

Do not buy the first thing you see and neither the cheaper as it could get out expensive.

An approximate price could range between 120 and $ 200 for a good quality backpack .

So when choosing , review these steps since that backpack will accompany you for long.

In order, to tastes and colors, there are plenty , but as we saw there are certain things that can not be overlooked when buying a travel bag.

¡Paseando por una Favela! ¿Estatua a Michael Jackson? RÍO Día 2

¡Es el segundo día en esta grandiosa ciudad y despertamos con todas las ganas de conocer mas lugares ! 
Bueno casi todas las ganas , ya que el ajetreado día anterior nos cansamos un poco y hoy al parecer mi compañero quiere dormir un poco mas . 
Desayunamos bien en el Hostel aun con las pijamas y Bruna , la recepcionista, dice que le gusta mi pantaloncito hippie. 

Planeamos ir a una de las favelas mas conocidas de Rio, La favela Santa marta hogar de la concurrida estatua a Michael Jackson desde 2010.
 Esta, al igual que otras cuantas, es una Favela pacificada , es decir que una Unidad de Policia Pacificadora va hasta la favela y se quedan dentro hasta asegurar la seguridad de esta. Básicamente hacen una limpia desde adentro.

En fin, nos dicen en el hostel que debemos tomar el metro o en su defecto caminar hasta ahí , la favela esta a unos 30 min caminando y aunque caminar hasta ahí implica pasar por un túnel y un cementerio, cosas que no combinan muy bien, decidimos hacerlo.

La experiencia fue grata ya que caminando se puede ver la diferencia entre la parte turística y el resto de la ciudad. La gente camina rápido y ocupada, al parecer, casi siempre. Unas cuantas miradas nos seguían al pasar entre las calles infestadas de trafico ya a esta hora, casi las 10:00 am.

CONSEJO

En todo lugar que se vaya a hacer turismo siempre es recomendable ir lo mas ligeros posible.

Como viajeros queremos evitar cualquier clase de problema así que es mejor no ostentar ninguna cosa.

 Es una medida de seguridad ante todo y mas aun cuando vas a un lugar que puede llegar a ser muy turbio como una Favela

. 

Luego de caminar por un largo rato por la Rua Real Grandeza, llegamos hasta el Palacio de Sao Clemente. Usado como el consulado de Portugal en Rio. Se supone que se puede visitar por dentro, pero justamente hoy no se podía, por un evento o algo así entendí del amable guardia que nos guió, así que me toco conformarme con unas fotos desde afuera. Que falla. 

En fin, a menos de 3 cuadras a la derecha esta la entrada ala Favela. Algo extraño, ya que me imagine algo diferente pero ahí vamos. Al llegar a la entrada, que desde ahí se veía muy normal  como cualquier otro barrio, nos detuvimos a mirar el mapa de la Favela y como llegar hasta la parte mas alta.

Rápidamente, y coma era de esperar, nos abordaron un par de "Guías turísticos" quienes por ¡80 R$ ! te daban el tour completo por la favela. Ese es el precio del pasaje de regreso a Sao Paulo.

Te dirán que no puedes hacer el recorrido solo y que es hasta peligroso hacerlo por la cuenta de uno pero la verdad es que no es así. 

Esta favela en particular es una de las mas seguras de todo Río ya que fue la primera en usar el programa de Pacificaciones y la Policía Militar es la encargada de resguardar la integridad de sus visitantes y también de los que ahí viven, convirtiéndose en la primera Favela en estar libre del azote del narcotráfico. 

Ademas que toda la favela en si esta señalizada por la gran afluencia de turistas, así que es muy fácil recorrerla. 

Luego de decir de varias maneras que no nos interesaba empezamos a subir por una calle sinuosa con mercaderes a los lados y el sonido de los niños jugando con un balón. 

El hambre se hizo presente y tuve que domarla con unas cuantas " maçãs " o manzanas en español. Cuatro manzanas por 1 R$. Suficiente para disimular el hambre a esa hora. 

Empezamos el recorrido ya con la Favela en el fondo pero aun no eramos conscientes de su magnitud, si no hasta dar la vuelta en una populosa calle. Desde ahí la vista era increíble. Un cambio radical de lo que veníamos viendo de camino acá. 

Las casas de colores, una sobre otra, parecían luchar por un lugar en el poco espacio que tenían.

Los colores le daban un toque vistoso a las construcciones a medio acabar entre los enmarañados alambrados que colgaban por doquier.

El cambio era extremo ya que a unas cuantas calles de aquí las casas tenían patios verdes rodeados de aceras adoquinadas y las personas conducían Audi y Bmw pero aquí las casas a medio terminar estaban una sobre otra con claras fallas de construcción y los desagües corrían libres bajo ellas a vista y paciencia de los transeúntes.

Un cambio enorme de ambiente y manera de percibir las cosas. En todo caso continuamos subiendo entre escaleras preparadas para las visitas y otras que guiaban a varias casas en un callejón sin salida. En realidad perderse o equivocarse de camino era muy fácil ya que cada ruta se parecía mucho a la anterior y así seguiría hasta llegar al mirador en el tope.

El pico que se ve al fondo es nada mas y nada menos que el corcovado con el Cristo Redentor un poco tapado por las nubes. Luego lo veríamos mas claramente. 

A un lado de la favela se encuentra un elevador mecánico que funciona gratis y te llevaran hasta la parte mas alta de la Favela o antes ya que tiene algunas paradas. Solo tienes que esperar a que este regrese y tomarlo de subida o bajada.

Seguimos caminando y preguntando a varias personas, muy amables por cierto, cual era la ruta para llegar a la estatua a Michael Jackson, una de las paradas que se tiene que hacer en Río. No pasó mucho tiempo antes de que entre paredes inclinadas y callejones llenos de gradas medio terminadas con el material que estuviera al alcance, gravilla, azulejos, vidrios y demás, llegáramos a un mirador y ahí a un lado la estatua al mítico cantante, cabe notar que el vídeo clip que grabaron en esta favela fue cuando esta aun no estaba pacificada por lo que fue necesaria la aprobación del Narcotraficante Marcio Amaro de Oliveira, hasta entonces "dueño de la favela" .

El impacto social que esto tubo en la favela fue tremendo convirtiéndola en un punto turístico muy concurrido hoy en día. Ademas de la vista que nos ofrecía el lugar , también podías ver mas claramente el cambio radical de los altos edificios cercanos y el lugar en donde estábamos. Nos daba algo en que pensar.

El Cristo Redentor era ya visible desde aquí y el sol calentaba ya todo al rededor. Entramos a un puesto de recuerdos y nos explican como es la vida en una favela. No muy distinta al resto, ya que la mayoría trabaja en la ciudad y solo los niños se quedan en casa. Unas playeras con un diseño diferente llaman mi atención y resultan ser los dibujos de un niño que fueron plasmadas en estas camisetas como un ingreso para sustentar a su familia. Hay una foto de ellos en una esquina. 

Luego de esto continuamos caminando, subiendo y subiendo un poco cansados. 

En la parte alta de la favela encontramos una cancha, sintética, con cuatro niños corriendo tras un balón. Nos miran y sonríen mientras juegan. Fue una sensación bonita. 

En la parte alta también esta la unidad de policía y un camino que va para atrás del morro y toda la favela. 

Dudamos medio minuto y empezamos a caminar. 

El camino lleva a un mirador escondido e increíble de Botafogo y Pan de azúcar.

El viento pega de frente por lo que es extremadamente refrescante y tranquilizador mirar la ciudad desde aquí. Una excelente manera de despedirse de una de las favelas mas bonitas de Río. 

Para llegar aquí hay que caminar un poco pero muy recomendado ademas de unas gafas de sol, agua y protector necesitas las ganas de conocer algo nuevo y fuera de los senderos. La vista te recompensara :) 

Así terminaba nuestra visita a una favela, algo que quería hacer hace mucho tiempo. 

Las cosas que vemos a diario nos alejan de la realidad cruda de otras personas. Da gracias por lo que tienes, siempre sera mas de lo que otras pueden tener.

Brazil ! Do you wanna know Rio ? What to do ? 1st part

Río! We are already here!

 Just being on the plane and i seem to listen the Samba , laughter , euphoria in the air.
I had heard a lot about this city and there were many emotions coming to me when finally we were on way to the " Cidade Maravilhosa " as it is known too.
Come with me in this count of things to do and not to do in Rio de Janeiro!

How to get? 

Well, Rio have two airports, Santos Dumont and Galeao, but as it is a tourist city , really tourist, the prices are higher than her sister cities and flights are not left out. So, for this reason we decided to go first to Sao Paulo and then go to Rio by bus. We arrived to Guarulhos International Airport and we use the Airport Bus Service per 30 R$ to BARRA FUNDA Bus Terminal. We hear about another option, cheaper, but we arrived late and this option was not working so if you know more about it, please tell us in one comment ! 
So when we was in the terminal we take a bus to Rio per 79 R$ in Expresso Brasileiro ( the current exchange is 1$:3.49 R$ but as Brazil is on Economic Resection you can find a change up to 1$: 4 R$). We saved almost $ 200 and this suited us fine.

We arrived to Río at the morning to Novo Rio bus Terminal and we was talking with a lot of people about if this place are safe or not, and after talking with a very friendly guide, we decided to take a bus near the station to the Metro station per 1.50 R$ , one block behind the bus terminal with the map that gave us the guide. The terminal is safe but not so much around of this. But we trust in our adventures hearts , lol.

METRO OF RÍO 

This city is complete made for tourism so if you wanna go to everywhere you will have the respective indications on the street and in your map, is easy to understand.
The metro is one of this, because every station have a map with the stops around the city and will take you near of the principals places in Río, Maracaña, Sugarloaf Mountain, Bota Fogo, Lapa,Copacabana and so many more per 3.50 R$. Our hostel was near Copacabana beach and we got off at the stop Siqueira Campos to walk a bit to there. Che Lagarto Hostel ( Click here for prices) was a really good place to stay, cheap and comfortable and we could meet more travelers like us so i recommend it.
After we let our bags at the hostel and we go out to walk to the Copacabana Beach,was really excited !

-COPACABANA ! 

Walk for this beach was some traumatic because the Carioca ( Person who was born in Rio) likes to train and the gym, maybe you can understand . :) whatever, the Beach was awesome! with a full sun day uncrowded. 

Should not forget to try the delicious Caipirinha, the official drink of Brazil. Very good in the hot days of Rio

After of walk for the beach we try to find some cheap and good food, but was not easy so after walking for a while we found a place, near the junction of the beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana, where the food is sold by weight (popular in Río) and this saved us from the starve. Just per 8 R$ ! 

LAPA, SUGAR LOAF MOUNTAIN, CORCOVADO

In the hostel we were offered a tour of the city and due to the short time we had this was a good choice.
We went first to Sugar Loaf Mountain , and it was amazing !
The view from up there is simply magnificent .

 
The wind, the distant sound of the city and the feel of freedom... i loved this place ! 100% Recommended.

 
After of enjoying this place, we went to Lapa in downtown, Río's nightlife is here.
We started the tour of the Metropolitan Cathedral of San Sebastian , with its completely different design to all the cathedrals and 75 meters high is definitely a must stop for every visitor to Rio .

 
After this nice stop we went to the Escadaria Selarón , full of colors from head to toe and gathering place for music lovers and art who exhibit their works at the foot of the stairs.

Another iconic stop is near there, I mean the Arcos de Lapa or Carioca Aqueduct. 

Formerly used as an aqueduct are now part of the tram to Santa Teresa neighborhood , our next stop .

The Santa Teresa neighborhood is certainly one of the most picturesque around Rio , for its preserved houses with the colorful ancient touch and something magical in the streets , of course apart from the constant sound of green areas , very abundant throughout Rio . But I do not have pictures of there because I had a problem with the memory card and deleted all pictures of this day! I wanted to kill my phone! 
So, after of this sad part of my life, we continue the Tour to our last stop on the day, The Corcovado Mountain. 

CORCOVADO MOUNTAIN- CRISTO REDENTOR

Well , we reached the last point of our journey. The magnificent Christ do Corcovado or the Christ the Redeemer !
After a route full of bumps and curves we reached the foot of the Corcovado mountain and to reach the top we had a little help , such as elevators and escalators. 
The advantage of the time we arrived was that there were few people and that the clouds that covered the mountain the entire day had dissipated. 
This gave us a spectacular view of the city at nightfall ! 

The view, the wind, this place is simply amazing ! You can see all the city and feel all the senses in one moment ! Brazil have some good places but Corcovado was my favorite , all you have to do is enjoy the moment and keep this place in your memory, in your heart. I loved this place ! 

So this is how we close the first day on Río do Janeiro, one amazing experience and the best way to meet Brazil but we have more places to know in this city yet and tomorrow will be one big day too !
